Bio

Giosi Pinna works across painting, drawing, and spatial practice. His work begins at the edge between two worlds: the one that can be directed, and the one that asks to be received.

Informed by a sense of automatism, Pinna sets conditions through which control is partially suspended, allowing the work to open beyond intention.

Education

Giosi Pinna obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design (Crossmedia Technology) from AP University College Antwerp (BE) in 2019. From 2018 to 2023, he completed a five-year studio training under the guidance of artist Marc Kennes, affiliated with Gallery De Zwarte Panter, Antwerp (BE). In 2026, he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BA) at Sint Lucas Antwerp (BE). He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MA) in Autonomous Arts at Sint Lucas Antwerp (BE), expected to graduate in 2027.
